Depending on the type of transport service, this may include:

- Browser type
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- App version
- Login activity
- Error logs

- Network information
This information may be used to maintain platform security, diagnose technical problems, prevent fraud and improve performance.
4.1 Website Cookies and Browser Storage
Cookies and browser storage serve different purposes. Our website uses the following storage to provide features you request:
- Essential sign-in cookie: damgo_passenger_session keeps your authenticated session available to the website, including authorised driver and operator access. It contains session credentials, is not an advertising identifier, and is restricted from JavaScript access (HttpOnly), sent over HTTPS in production (Secure), and configured with SameSite=Lax. Its browser lifetime is up to seven days from setting or renewal; server-side expiry or revocation can end access sooner. Signing out clears this cookie.
- Trip draft: unsent routes, coordinates, schedules and codes stay in temporary page memory while you sign in and plan a trip. Reloading or closing the page clears that unsent draft. Signing out clears it too. We remove the legacy damgo-booking-draft from sessionStorage and localStorage when the website opens. Avoid leaving a signed-in page open on a shared device.
Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in. Unsent routes are not saved in browser storage. You can clear DamGo site data using your browser's privacy settings; this can sign you out and remove unsent drafts, but it does not delete bookings or account records held by DamGo.
4.2 Website Measurement and Diagnostics
Our website integrates Vercel Web Analytics to understand page usage and Vercel Speed Insights to measure loading performance. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookie-free. Cookie-free measurement can still involve technical data: page URLs, browser and device information, approximate country, access time and performance measurements. Provider processing and retention are governed by the applicable service arrangements; these are separate from the seven-day sign-in cookie and temporary trip draft.
Sentry error diagnostics are integrated and operate when a reporting destination is configured. They help diagnose failures and are not an advertising service. Our client configuration removes user fields and request cookies, headers and bodies before reporting. It does not enable session replay or performance tracing. Server hosting and security logs may also process request information for operation and abuse prevention. We do not promise a fixed diagnostic retention period where provider configuration has not been verified.
DamGo excludes its shared-trip viewer from client analytics, performance measurement and client error reporting. No advertising pixel or marketing cookie was identified in the current website implementation. External links, including TikTok, and mapping services may process information under their own policies when you use them.
We do not ask you to accept an optional advertising cookie that the website does not use. Before introducing optional storage or tracking requiring consent under applicable law, we will provide clear information and working consent controls. Agreement to our Terms is not consent to optional tracking. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@damgoride.com.
5. Payment Information
Payments on DamGo may be processed using Mobile Money or other approved payment providers.
Depending on the payment method, we may receive:
- Payment status

Where payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, that provider may process your financial information according to its own privacy and security policies.
